Guest units, Dwarsberg trout hide away, Rawsonville.

The beautiful Dwarsberg trout hideaway is nestled in between the mountains just outside of Rawsonville. The client approached us to design ‘container’ dwellings for their guests. After the design development process the scheme evolved into light steel construction cladded internally with stunning birch wood and externally with charcoal corrugated sheeting. This way the units still resemble a container but is easier and more cost-effective to construct. The large glazed sections opening the interior to the landscape and a large deck makes inside-outside living a getaway dream. A small pool is reachable from the deck and a boma hidden in the landcape makes the perfect combination for the perfect retreat. The collaboration on this project makes it a huge success. We've got a great team involved from the client #dwarsbergtrouthideaway, landscape designer Jan Hagen #ZantedeschiaconceptsMontagu, interior designer Kim from #oooh and the construction team Dean from #spaas, Gerhard from #greenwayinteriors and Louis and Stefan from #nubou.
